It's               been               a               busy               week               or               so               for               Norwich               City               FC.

After               the               Charlton               game               mass               changes               were               promised               and               the               early               signs               are               good.

First               Bryan               Gunn               announced               his               first               summer               signing               in               the               shape               of               Matty               Gill.

Next               came               the               news               everyone               had               be               waiting               for,               as               David               McNally               was               appointed               as               the               new               chief               executive               of               the               football               club.

Finally,               Bryan               Gunn               confirmed               his               second               summer               signing               Osain               Tudur               Jones.

Matty               Gill               is               seen               as               a               player               who               likes               to               pass               the               ball,               win               tough               challenges,               and               also               with               an               eye               for               goal.

In               fact,               last               season               he               scored               nine               goals               from               midfield.

However,               he               is               seen               as               a               holding               midfielder               and               a               possible               replacement               for               Sammy               Clingan.

He               joins               on               a               two-year               deal               and               is               a               Bosman               style               free               transfer.
Osian               Tudur               Jones               has               represented               Wales               at               both               senior               and               under-21               level.

He               offers               plenty               of               lower               league               experience               as               does               Matty               Gill               incidentally.

Jones               also               has               the               advantage               of               winning               promotion               with               Swansea               out               of               this               division.

The               only               slight               concern               is               he               had               his               injury               problems               at               Swansea.

Hopefully               that's               all               behind               him               and               he               joins               on               a               three-year               contract.

There               is               also               a               fee               of               around               £200,000               because               Swansea               had               a               one-year               option               on               his               contract.
Norwich               also               announced               their               new               chief               executive               within               the               last               week.

The               man               is               David               McNally,               and               he               had               previous               roles               at               Celtic               and               Fulham.

At               Celtic,               he               was               in               charge               of               sales               and               marketing,               and               did               excellent               work               on               improving               Celtic's               off               the               field               income.
He               then               moved               on               to               Fulham,               where               he               held               the               title               of               managing               director.

He               left               Fulham               in               December               of               last               year,               after               four               successful               years               at               the               club.

His               time               there               coincided               with               the               appointment               of               Roy               Hodgson,               and               the               structure               that               enabled               Fulham's               best               ever               Premier               league               finish               last               season.

Furthermore,               upon               leaving               Fulham               he               was               linked               with               the               chief               executive               role               at               Arsenal.
The               next               few               weeks               promise               to               be               frantic,               with               new               board               members               set               to               be               announced               shortly.

There               should               also               be               one               or               two               additional               signings               before               the               end               of               this               week.

Colin               Doyle,               Liam               Dickinson               and               Michael               Nelson,               have               all               been               linked               with               moves.
Finally,               it               has               been               announced               that               seven               substitutes               can               be               used               next               season,               and               Norwich               city               will               start               the               new               season               with               a               home               game               against               Colchester               United.

They               will               also               play               Yeovil               Town               in               the               first               round               of               the               Carling               Cup.
